Outside of your wallet and mobile phone, your camera will be quite a prize for the average thief. So wherever you are, the UK or abroad, it pays to protect your camera by keeping it safe at all times and to consider taking out specialist camera insurance.
Overseas Camera Insurance
Most policies offer full travel cover whilst in the UK, but often an additional cost will be incurred for travel worldwide. Even if your travel insurance policy covers worldwide travel it is worth double checking that the insurer or underwriter will cover your camera should you travel to high risk areas.
