Making a Claim

To make a claim on your camera insurance, follow the procedure detailed in your policy documentation. To make things even easier for you, we have listed the primary claim telephone number for each of our providers here.

Make sure you have all your policy documents ready when you call to help speed up the claims process.

Usually, the claims process will be straightforward and easy to follow. To make things easier for both yourselves and the insurer, and to speed up your claim, try to make sure you always keep receipts for all the equipment that you purchase. If you do not have a receipt, try to provide proof of purchase such as a bank statement, or at least know the value of the product from a reputable supplier.

As soon as you know you will be needing to make a claim, phone the insurer to let them know. Even if you can only give basic details at this stage, at least you have the ball rolling for your claim process.

Often the next step is to fill in a claims form, which will be sent to you directly from the insurer. Of course, the sooner this is done the more accurate the details will be and the faster the claim can be processed. Any discrepancies or unclear information can slow the claim down as the insurer will have to check and confirm these details before they can proceed with your claim.
