Irish TV couple loose camera on Birthday night out

Two Irish TV stars have been left wishing they had camera insurance after the theft of their photographic equipment ruined a party.
The local Irish Herald reported that RTE presenters Brian Ormond and Pippa O'Connor had their party at exclusive nightclub Krystle spoilt when a thief made off with their camera.
Ormond explained to the paper that the camera was re3laively new, as he had given it to his model girlfriend for a birthday present.
"It was a pink Sony touch-screen camera that she absolutely loved," he added.
"She just put it down for a second when the birthday cake came out and someone either took it to keep it safe or lifted it and took it home -- we really don't know what could have happened."
The 24-year-old model O'Connor added that she was absolutely "fuming" when she found she could not find the camera.
"I'm not really sure where I put it down, but it's so annoying. Brian was warning me all night not to lose it and I was going, 'Of course I won't'," she told the paper.
The incident highlights the importance of camera insurance, as did a recent piece of research that showed that nearly one in ten camera owners have fallen over while taking their shots.
